About this route
A solid option once you’ve already done Komodo and Raja Ampat — Sulawesi liveaboards cover ground that rarely shows up elsewhere. Departures run from Manado heading north or Kendari heading south, depending on operator.
Season
March to November. April–June gives the best visibility in the Lembeh region.
What to know
- Sulawesi liveaboards are often smaller boats (8–12 guests) — pick the operator based on the comfort level you want.
- The Bangka region has strong current on some days — the guide picks sites as conditions change.
- Price range: 34–50,000 SEK for 7–10 nights.
- Often combined with a land-based stay in Lembeh before or after — ask us about it.
